There are two main parts of this powerful hold that smoking has on you: the physiological and the psychological.
The physiological level is mainly about the nicotine that cigarettes contain (as do many cigarette substitutes such as vapes/e-cigarettes). Some people manage to stop smoking for a few days using willpower but find that their body ‘needs’ nicotine. It can be tough trying to resist – this is the point when many people start smoking again. It can feel like failure.
The psychological level is about the way you think about smoking – the things that you believe smoking does for you. Does the thought of never smoking again leave you feeling as though you’re sacrificing something? The idea of life without cigarettes seems a bit empty? As if you would somehow be missing out on something? If so, you have successfully hypnotised yourself into believing that you ‘need’ cigarettes!

What can I expect?
The first session lasts for 1 ½ - 2 hours.
This will include some hypnosis and some discussion about your smoking so I can adapt what I do to your specific needs. I also teach you some techniques for you to use between sessions to help you stay stopped.
